بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Who is MUHAMMAD (PBUH)?

One in every five people on Earth strongly believes that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the final Messenger of God. He was a Muslim, and today there are more than 1.9 billion Muslims worldwide.

It's not just individuals who take pride in this belief; entire countries do as well. There are 54 Muslim-majority nations today, ranging from large countries like Indonesia and Bangladesh, with populations of 200 million and 125 million, respectively, to smaller ones like the Maldives and Brunei, with populations of just a few hundred thousand. Even in non-Muslim-majority countries, Muslim communities are significant, such as the 120 million Muslims in India and 20 million in China.

In the past few decades, Islam, the religion brought by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), has become the second-largest religion in many European countries, as well as in the United States and Canada.

Muslims come from all races and backgrounds—black, white, red, yellow—whether in Asia, Europe, Africa, or the Americas. Wherever you go on the planet, you’re bound to encounter Muslims, living in both bustling cities and remote villages, as well as in nomadic tents and isolated regions.

For centuries, people around the world have lived and died loving the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), following his example in every aspect of life. They’ve loved and respected him like no other figure in history. Muslims have patterned their lives after his teachings—marrying, raising families, worshipping, governing, fighting wars, making peace, and even eating, dressing, walking, and sleeping just as he did or advised.

Never before has one man had such a profound and lasting impact on humanity. Even after his death, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) continues to inspire and guide millions of hearts and minds. Muslims love him more than anyone else and find their deepest sense of inspiration and guidance through him. His example serves as the ultimate standard for them. Their faith in Allah and His Messenger is their rock, and they turn to Allah for comfort and strength in their lives' challenges. They look to the Prophet’s teachings for wisdom in facing social, political, and personal struggles, just as they have throughout history.

To Muslims, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is not only a messenger, but a living example of how to navigate life according to God's will. His guidance continues to inspire Muslims to shape their lives—whether in their personal actions or in the broader social and political spheres—according to the values he taught.
